Utilising my childhood and youth studies degree, which I achieved in 2016, has been continuously important to me. I enjoy working with children, assisting with their learning and their pastoral needs. I want to help young people achieve their full potential by ensuring they have the tools within themselves to achieve their very best. I am passionate about finding new ways and interventions to assist them with this goal. I always try to match these interventions with the individual.
I have regular safeguarding training; this is carried out on an annual basis. This has enabled me to keep up with changes in legislation along with enabling me to watch for signs that indicate that a child may need extra support or intervention.
